Primitivo: eight bungalows on the Alagoas coast
At Praia dos Morros de Camaragibe, a small hotel makes its case through the spacing between its buildings and the materials close at hand.
Reportage / Burgundy
The 2026 announcement described a small floating hotel whose interiors drew on French craft and the surrounding landscape.

A canal journey offers a different architectural scale from an ocean voyage. In WAYFARER Brazil’s March 2026 account of Belmond’s Marguerite, the boat was conceived for a small group, with four suites and shared rooms that placed the landscape close to everyday life on board.
The announcement described a reinvention of the vessel previously known as Amaryllis. Its new name, the French word for daisy, informed a palette of gentle yellows, floral references and coloured glass. These details connected the interior to the Burgundy setting without turning it into a literal landscape painting.
French craft supplied further points of reference. Stained glass from Atelier Loire in Chartres and joinery made in Saint Rémy appeared in the archive’s account. A salon and dining room gave the interior a domestic organisation, while outdoor dining and a plunge pool extended the living spaces onto the deck.
The source associated the food programme with Dominique Crenn and a resident chef, describing seasonal menus as part of the intended experience. It also outlined excursions connected with Dijon, Vougeot and the wine landscape. Those were announced plans, not a verified report of every subsequent departure.
The useful distinction is one of pace and proximity. A small canal vessel can frame travel through a region as a sequence of short movements and close observations. This is an archival design and travel account, not a charter offer, current price quotation or guarantee that the announced itinerary remains available.
