Woven leather and a metal knot carry the family’s visual identity into a more compact outline.

Reducing an object’s scale reveals which details carry its identity. Bottega Veneta’s Mini Andiamo kept the woven leather and metal knot that made the larger family recognisable, bringing their relationship into a smaller outline.
WAYFARER Brazil’s May 2026 account described a compact body with a top handle and a removable shoulder strap. The different carrying options altered its practical use without requiring a different decorative vocabulary. Intrecciato remained the surface through which the form was read.
The source moved between neutral colours and a more emphatic red, then described a fringed variation. In that version, the woven body’s ordered construction encountered a looser outer layer. Surface and silhouette became different kinds of movement within the same object.
This is not a wearing test or a claim about current stock, and the archive’s exact dimensions are not treated as a substitute for a present product specification. The design question is simpler: what can be reduced without weakening recognition? The answer here lies in relationships rather than size alone. Handle, weave and knot remain legible together, allowing the smaller bag to belong to a family without becoming merely a miniature picture of it.
