RIMOWA: Umber and Ultramarine as a colour argument
The October 2026 collection uses a warm brown and an intense blue across luggage, leather bags and travel accessories.
Reportage / Milan
A motorcycle concept and a clothing collection treated colour and symbols as common ground.

A motorcycle on a runway can be more than a prop. Honda and Onitsuka Tiger’s Milan presentation made the vehicle and the clothing parts of one visual proposition, connected by Tiger Yellow and the Wing Mark.
WAYFARER Brazil’s September 2026 account described the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept, a sporting motorcycle concept shown beside the fashion label’s spring/summer 2027 collection. Honda’s official announcement confirms its presentation on 23 September in Milan. This was a concept unveiling, not the release of a production model.
Black stripes interrupted the yellow bodywork, while the wheels carried details and marks from both partners. On the clothing side, Honda’s wing symbol entered footwear and garments influenced by motorcycle culture. The exchange operated in both directions rather than using fashion only to decorate a machine.
No ride assessment, engine claim or production commitment is added here. The design question is sufficiently clear without them. Two Japanese companies placed familiar identifiers inside an unfamiliar setting. The yellow remained legible as Onitsuka Tiger; the wing remained legible as Honda. Their meeting made a shared surface without requiring either identity to disappear.
Presentation checked against Honda’s announcement.
