The October 2026 collection uses a warm brown and an intense blue across luggage, leather bags and travel accessories.

Umber and Ultramarine work as a pair because they pull in different directions. One is warm and grounded; the other gives the surface a more emphatic blue. RIMOWA used that contrast to organise an October 2026 collection rather than treat colour as a minor finishing choice.
WAYFARER’s Brazilian account connected the shades with painters’ palettes. The names gave the launch a visual vocabulary extending beyond the airport and into the artist’s studio.
The treatment extended through the Essential cases, from their shells towards smaller components, and into Groove bags and accessories. A compact shopping bag, cross-body format and zipped pouch carried the same colours at a different scale.
One material distinction needs correcting. Essential luggage is made from polycarbonate, not aluminium, as confirmed by RIMOWA’s collection description. The Brazilian article’s suggestion that these were newly coloured aluminium cases is not repeated here.
Joe Alwyn appeared in a film about a young artist entering a new studio. The room supplied a narrative setting for the palette rather than a technical demonstration of luggage.
The brand’s launch announcement confirms the collection. Prices and immediate stock claims are omitted. The design proposition is the consistency of colour across objects whose forms and materials remain distinct.
