Cannes has a programme inside the screening rooms and another in the images made on the way to them. WAYFARER’s May 2025 red-carpet gallery followed that second programme at the festival’s seventy-eighth edition.

The source connected actors, filmmakers, models and other guests within the same ceremonial setting. Its gallery named figures including Alessandra Ambrósio, Bella Hadid, Carla Bruni, Dakota Johnson, Eva Longoria and Isabelle Huppert, alongside Brazilian presences such as Lívia Nunes and Marina Ruy Barbosa.

The article also placed the festival jury and Robert De Niro’s honorary recognition within the broader event context. Fashion did not occur independently of cinema; it accompanied the public rituals through which the festival presented itself.

The gallery supplied names and images rather than a complete set of garment credits. This adaptation does not invent designers, describe unseen outfits or rank looks that the source did not analyse. It retains the distinction between a documented appearance and an interpretation added afterwards.

Read as an archive, the red carpet shows how a film festival also circulates as a fashion image. The stairs, arrivals and formal conventions create continuity, while each year’s participants give that established frame another cast.
