Dendezeiro’s Brasiliano 3: Lei da Vadiagem did not keep the runway separate from the dance floor. Funk and the social world around it supplied a rhythm for the clothes and the presentation.

WAYFARER’s October 2025 report placed the show at São Paulo Fashion Week’s sixtieth edition. Hisan Silva and Pedro Batalha used the final chapter of their Brasiliano trilogy to examine belonging and the representation of people often pushed outside official cultural narratives.

Tailoring beside streetwear

The collection joined more structured garments with streetwear. Beaded bags made with Ateliê Masanga kept handwork visible within that exchange, rather than treating craft as the opposite of contemporary urban clothing.

Partnerships with Jordan and Kenner introduced footwear into the presentation. The archive described Kenner sandals personalised with Brasil do Brasil lettering. Claims of a global product first are not repeated here without verification.

The Baile Essencial after-event extended the show’s musical register, with Tasha & Tracie among the performers recorded in the source.

The trilogy’s earlier chapters had turned towards the northeastern sertão and the Amazon. This final collection looked towards southeastern urban peripheries. Its value as an archival record is the insistence on those settings as sources of direction, not merely locations from which a designer must depart to become internationally legible.
