Silk, reversible jackets and jacquard blankets translated a design language into objects worn and used at home.
FROM THE WAYFARER BRAZIL ARCHIVE / English adaptation. Date shown is the original publication date.

A design language can travel without carrying its original object along. Range Rover’s London Collection, introduced in February 2025, moved references from the vehicle into clothing, textiles and a small sculpture.
WAYFARER Brazil described reversible jackets, silk scarves and wool-and-cashmere blankets among the pieces. The connection was made through material, pattern and detail rather than only through a printed name. Jacket zips referred to the vehicle’s rotary controls, while the blankets used a Bodyside Motif in jacquard.
The scarves brought together production references from the Lake Como area and Macclesfield. An aluminium miniature added a more literal link to the vehicle’s shape. The campaign featured Adwoa Aboah in London’s Design District, under Marcos Fecchino’s creative direction, placing the collection within a city setting rather than an automotive scene.
The original report discussed ways to purchase the pieces, but present availability and delivery are not asserted here. This adaptation considers the 2025 collection as a design exercise. The question is whether an identity remains recognisable when its scale, material and purpose change. A blanket cannot perform the work of a vehicle. It can, however, carry a related rhythm of line, colour and proportion.
