An object earns its place at home through use as well as appearance. Theodora Home’s collection presented in November 2024 approached the room through small rituals: tea, reflection and the arrangement of a living space.

Founder Marcela Caio brought together five pieces, with references to the Language of Home series from Fernanda Ralston’s I Am Creation platform. The original presentation attached wellbeing claims to the collection. Those claims are not treated here as established medical or neurological effects; the design can be considered without them.

The materials offer a more precise reading. Escultura Equilíbrio paired golden brass with Tibetan silk threads. Nicole Toldi’s handmade Mantiqueira vases brought another register of craft to the living room. The Note to Self mirror used a natural quartz base, while the Alchemy tea set combined clay with golden detailing. A selenite bowl completed the group.

Seen together, the pieces suggest a home organised around actions rather than a single decorative theme. A mirror asks for a pause; a tea set creates a reason to sit at a table; a vase changes the scale of a surface. These are interpretations of the collection’s design, not promises of therapeutic results. The most convincing relationship between object and inhabitant remains the simplest: something is used, noticed and kept.
