A themed night can make the audience part of its scenery. Black Caviar’s Halloween 2025 announcement asked for dark, imaginative clothing, connecting the people on the floor with the visual direction of the event.
Maz was named as the central performer, with Simo Not Simon and Bauhouse completing the programme. His work connects Brazilian musical references with the extended structures of electronic dance music, a relationship also expressed through his Dawn Patrol label.
Black Caviar’s event language combines music with scenery and brand activations. Halloween provided a defined subject around which those different elements could be arranged.
The interesting question is how much a theme changes an evening. When it reaches beyond a poster and into clothing, lighting and the route through a room, it becomes a shared visual vocabulary rather than a name added to a familiar line-up.
