A repeated pattern can connect several objects without making them identical. Dioriviera’s 2024 installation at The Beverly Hills Hotel used coral toile de Jouy across cabanas, loungers and umbrellas, giving the pool a temporary visual system.

WAYFARER Brazil’s June account described a boutique conceived around the idea of a resort house. Maria Grazia Chiuri’s capsule collection sat alongside Dior Maison objects, extending the pattern from clothing into furniture and tableware. The same image could be worn, handled or used as part of a room.

The setting mattered. The hotel’s familiar Pink Palace identity did not disappear beneath the installation. Coral introduced another register within an already recognisable environment, allowing the project to be read as an intervention rather than a replacement.

This adaptation describes the 2024 programme, not a pop-up that is currently operating, and it makes no claims about treatments offered in the accompanying spa. The design question lies in the pattern’s reach. When one motif crosses clothing, shade and furniture, it can establish continuity between retail and hospitality. A pool remains a pool, but its surfaces briefly tell a different visual story.
