A music scene needs places to discuss the work behind a night out. The third Hot Beats Music Conference, announced for 21 to 24 May 2026, connected Rio de Janeiro with Amsterdam Dance Event through panels, workshops and a programme extending across the city.

Hotel Nacional was the setting for two days of professional content. Activations and events supplied the other half of a schedule designed to connect artists with the people who organise, represent and circulate their work.

The exchange followed Casa Brasil’s presence in Amsterdam during the previous year’s ADE. Roland Leesker, Lisa Sant and Raphael Pujol were among the announced speakers, alongside Brazilian artists including Eli Iwasa, Cat Dealers and Illusionize.

The proposition placed Brazil inside a continuing conversation. A market becomes a creative partner when its musicians and organisers can help shape the agenda, not simply receive the next touring act.
