RIMOWA: Umber and Ultramarine as a colour argument
The October 2026 collection uses a warm brown and an intense blue across luggage, leather bags and travel accessories.

The jewellery collection's familiar detail becomes a working clasp in an envelope-inspired leather bag.

The Clash de Cartier bag makes its point through a single action. A rotating pin opens or closes the form, turning a recognisable jewellery detail into something the hand uses.
WAYFARER’s September 2026 account described the move from Clash jewellery to leather goods. Studs and beads had supplied the collection’s earlier visual tension; the bag concentrated that vocabulary into its fastening.
The starting reference was an envelope. Open, the bag offered a less structured shape. Closed by turning the pin, it took on a more defined outline. The handle allowed it to be carried in the hand, on the arm or at the shoulder.
Marlin Yuson, Cartier’s creative director for accessories and leather goods in the source account, placed the emphasis on the lines of the bag rather than a large decorative surface.
The archive described production in Cartier’s Florence workshops, using finely grained leather selected to develop a patina with use. Black, caramel and the house’s burgundy supplied the colour range.
The launch details and market-dependent sizes belong to the original account. What makes the design legible does not require a retail promise. A small mechanical action changes the shape, allowing a jewellery code to acquire a practical role without needing to become an oversized logo.
