PatBO’s Latin Soul: craft in motion

Patricia Bonaldi's Spring 2026 collection connects handwork with a Brazilian campaign setting.

Handwork is most convincing when it becomes part of how a garment moves. PatBO’s Latin Soul collection brings crochet, beading and embroidered surfaces into Patricia Bonaldi’s Spring 2026 vocabulary.

First shown in New York in September 2025, the collection received its Brazilian presentation in March 2026. Red peonies, ruffles and draping move between tulle and taffeta, giving floral references more than one texture.

Paraty supplies the campaign’s setting. The town’s architectural surfaces and coastal light place the clothes within a recognisable Brazilian context without turning each garment into a literal landscape.

The collection’s argument rests in the relationship between construction and ease. Elaborate work can remain visible while allowing the body to move, making craft a component of the silhouette rather than a separate layer of decoration.
