Tiffany: the jewellery archive enters the watch

The 2026 watch presentation used colour, setting and Jean Schlumberger motifs to connect timekeeping with the house's jewellery language.

Tiffany’s watches can draw on an archive larger than their own category. Jewellery motifs, familiar colours and the structure of a setting give the house several ways to make a timepiece recognisable without relying only on a dial signature.

WAYFARER’s February 2026 account followed that approach through the Tiffany Timer and Sixteen Stone Mother-of-Pearl, presented around LVMH Watch Week.

A chronograph with a jewellery vocabulary

The Timer was described as a platinum chronograph with a Tiffany Blue lacquer dial and baguette-cut diamond hour markers. Its faceted crown referred to the house’s six-prong solitaire setting.

On the back, a version of Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock appeared on the rotor of the Zenith El Primero movement. The reference placed an established jewellery motif inside the working watch.

Schlumberger in another form

Sixteen Stone returned to the designer’s cross-stitch motif. Mother-of-pearl, yellow-gold elements and diamonds created a different relationship between the centre of the dial and its surrounding ring.

The source’s production quantities and stone counts belong to that presentation and are not treated as current stock information. The useful connection is formal: a crown can recall a setting, a rotor can carry a bird, and a dial can borrow the structure of textile work. The watch becomes another place in which the archive can be used.
